Evans EC2 Clear Drum Heads Reviews 5

I'm a drummer. I'm originally from Brazil. I play in a band called Glint.

Skins (or drumheads, if you prefer) as we all know, not only create the drum sound, through its vibrations, but it gives specific characteristics to it. With a wide range of options, to choose a favorite one it takes not only taste, but a comprehension of what sound you will try to achieve from it. The warmth and yet brightness of the EC2 has done to my drums exactly that. Not only matches my own personal taste but fits cohesively with my band's sound. The EC2 is another of many Evans pro-innovation achievements. They are built with internal rings that control edge vibration, damping high overtones, resulting in a warm low-end with clear attack. They are great for live and recording situations, easy to tune and last for many sessions. The price range from $13 to $31 bucks, depending on size and store type (online or retail). You can find discount deals when you buy them by pack.

Because of its %22Edge Control%22 technology, one of the greatness characteristics of these heads is its enormous range for tuning.

The EC2 are made of two 7mil plies film with the Edge Control Rings mounted underneath them. They are available on 6%22, 8%22, 10%22, 12%22, 13%22, 14%22, 15%22, 16%22, 18%22.

These are great skins choice for drummers looking for toms with great attack and warmth on live and studio applications.
